Upper balcony and lift lobby: reference render (2026-10-20)

upper-balcony-lift-lobby-reference.webp was supplied by the author on 2026-10-20 as "what a final render could look like": an AI-generated image of the hall's upper balcony at the entrance end, made outside this repository. Its prompt and generator are not recorded.

What it shows against the 3D study

Matches the model's geometry as of that day: two lifts side by side with their doors facing the hall and call panels on the outer sides; a bench against the lobby's free wall; the lobby open to the balcony across its frontage; the glazed terrace door at the end of the balcony walk; planter troughs behind the rail with blue and ivory flowers; a branched pillar splitting into two arms under the primary truss; mullioned end glazing; the neighbouring upper office with its door and window; the mission frontage below.

Adopted from it in the materials and lighting pass of the same day: veined cream marble in place of flat pale stone; warm light coves tracing the frontage lines; navy doors carrying a single flowing silver line; brighter, reflective metal trim.

Proposals, not adopted: the lift lobby frontage as a recessed, lit alcove in a continuous upper wall; a glass balustrade outside the terrace door; furnished, lit office interiors; the lakeside city with spires on the horizon (the sky remains a visual study, not a map of Sylir).
